Three distinct audiences. One focused event. Every session designed around a specific, actionable return for the people in the room.
Track A: Data Intelligence Business Practices
Interactive sessions · Real-world case studies · No vendor pitchesTrack B: Robotics
Business-focused · Live demonstrations · Dealer case studiesSetting the stage: why this moment matters for the traditional imaging community and the emerging robotics ecosystem.
A business-first keynote connecting document intelligence, AI, and robotics to the operational realities of organizations in the room. Where are organizations seeing real ROI from automation? What does it cost to delay?
An open industry discussion on the collaboration between the TWAIN Working Group and Stramaglio Consulting about the formation of Open Interoperability Technologies (OIT).
Together, we’ll explore our technology project building a Capture Gateway with Workplace Asset Lifecycle Management (WALM) framework as a foundation—creating valuable new and strategically important data sources that can help monetize solutions through universal interoperability in the era of IoT and AI.
Bring your ideas, challenges, and perspective. Help shape what comes next.
What happens when real-time interoperability becomes a new source of monetization for leasing, financing, and service?
This session explores industry-friendly billing models for scanning, printing, and robotics—using “TWAIN-inside” metrics as a second monetization engine, alongside traditional billing models. New metrics can measure and count virtually everything across Imaging, Robotics, and AI, creating powerful new data sources for innovative billing, service, asset management, and revenue models—today and well into the future.
Imagine the value of having real-time visibility into how every asset is actually being used—and the possibilities that creates for more flexible billing, better cash-flow management, and entirely new business models.
Multiple federal initiatives and agencies encourage or prefer open, non-proprietary, and interoperable systems for procurement, cybersecurity, and AI governance. Discover how stable, community-supported standards for AI agents, hardware, and systems create trust, ensure consistent operations, and drive efficiency, avoiding the risks of proprietary, siloed technology. Learn practical frameworks to manage AI-driven automation while maintaining auditability, regulatory alignment, and enterprise-wide reliability.
Brief orientation to the two Day 2 tracks so attendees can plan their day.
Updates from TWAIN Working Group leadership on milestones, certifications, and the roadmap ahead.
Day 2 delivers deep, targeted content across two concurrent tracks. If you are part of the data intelligence community, Track A is your home base. If you are exploring the robotics channel opportunity, Track B is designed for you. Both tracks reconvene for the Day 2 Demonstrations and Closing. Each track features a dedicated moderator, is interactive, with structured audience discussion, live demonstrations and case studies throughout.
Driverless scanning could be the next major disruption in office technology—much like the transition underway with Windows Protected Print. But disruption creates opportunity: Can this moment become a new leasing, financing, and recurring revenue opportunity for the imaging channel?
Peter Bedell, Chair, TWAIN Working Group, joins Jennie Fisher, Group President, Office Technology, GreatAmerica Financial Services, and Jay Brown, Head of Cybersecurity Operations Business Unit, Managed Print Services, Marco Technologies, for a joint presentation exploring how dealers can turn driverless scanning into a financed technology solution, managed service, and long-term customer relationship.
The discussion connects technology disruption with the practical realities of equipment financing, As-a-Service models, cybersecurity, managed services, and recurring revenue—and asks whether the industry is looking at a technology upgrade when it should be looking at a new business model.
A practical session for IG professionals: what AI can automate in records management, where human oversight is non-negotiable, and how document capture standards protect compliance. No technical background required.
The MFP has traditionally been monetized by the click. But what happens when you start monetizing what happens to the document after the click?
This panel explores how MFP dealers, manufacturers, and their technology partners can create new revenue streams from the scanning infrastructure they already sell—by charging for the value of the information and workflow, not simply the page.
From basic document capture to intelligent document processing and AI, there are numerous potential billing events:
The panel will explore which models make economic sense, which create predictable recurring revenue, and where dealers can add value without turning their existing MFP customers into another complicated software sale.
TWG has begun development on the TWAIN Direct Reference Platform — a cloud-based, driverless standard for print and scan. Joe will walk through the specification, the working reference implementation already running print, pull-scan, and push-scan over a live cloud, and where the platform is headed next.
This session is interactive by design: come ready to ask questions and help shape the standard while it's still being written.
How do you turn authenticity, provenance, and trust into a revenue-generating business?
As AI makes it increasingly difficult to distinguish original, modified, and machine-generated content, provenance is moving from a technical capability to a potential economic asset. C2PA provides an open standard for cryptographically binding provenance information to digital content, including its origin, modifications, and use of AI.
This session explores what happens when we stop thinking of provenance as simply metadata and start treating trust as a service that can be measured, delivered, and monetized.
How can Field Service turn the installed base into a strategic growth engine while creating better economics for customers and service providers?
Software and firmware updates, parts replacement, cybersecurity and PQC upgrades can extend equipment life, improve uptime and SLAs, and create new recurring service opportunities.
MFPs provide the proven model. Robotics gives the industry a unique opportunity to establish a new service and supply-chain ecosystem—working together across manufacturers, dealers, service providers, and suppliers before the market becomes fragmented.
The expertise, relationships, and service infrastructure that powered the managed print industry are the very foundation for success in the robotics and autonomous mobile robot (AMR) market. This session offers a clear, accessible look at how robots are being deployed, supported, and monetized, showing how businesses can drive operational efficiency while creating entirely new revenue opportunities.
Analyst overview of the AMR and office robotics market — projected growth, current adoption, and how the MFP/copier dealer channel is positioned as the primary service and distribution network for office-ready robots.
A copier/MFP dealer shares their experience entering the robotics market: motivation, lessons learned, business model, and results. Moderated Q&A.
What happens when printers, robots, field service, and safety systems work together as one connected workplace?
This live demo brings interoperability, serviceability, and safety to life through a real-world workflow: a printer requests paper, a robot responds and completes the delivery, another robot performs cleaning, and a service event triggers a field-service workflow.
The demo then shows how connected robots can safely share the same workspace while avoiding conflicts—even when their missions overlap.
Most importantly, every action demonstrated creates valuable, measurable data that can become a new monetization opportunity—from consumables and usage to service events, robot missions, productivity, asset utilization, and safety.
Three takeaways: Interoperability. Serviceability. Safety. And a new universe of measurable data to monetize.
As robotics expands into the workplace, the business opportunity goes far beyond selling the robot. This use case explores value-added services that can generate recurring revenue through integration, security, embodied AI and personalization, and multi-vendor AMR and robotic workflows.
Universal interoperability creates opportunities to charge for deployment and integration, managed robotics services, cybersecurity, AI capabilities, workflow orchestration, remote monitoring, asset management, maintenance, and performance optimization.
The result is a shift from a one-time hardware sale to an ongoing services and revenue model, where each robot, workflow, data point, and AI capability can become part of a measurable, billable service.
How Robotics-as-a-Service pricing, usage-based billing, and leasing structures make robots accessible to mid-market organizations — and how dealers can structure offers their customers can say yes to.
Open discussion on the twAIn Robotics standards roadmap, the CORR certification program, and what it takes to build a channel that can sell, service, and support robots at scale.
